Greetings from SYAS! Thank you for your continued support and active involvement in your child's/ward’s education. We appreciate the confidence you have placed in us to help nurture their learning and growth.

As we approach the midpoint of the academic year, we are delighted to invite you to our upcoming Parent-Teacher Conference (PTC). This event serves as an invaluable opportunity for us to discuss with you about
the performance and progress of your child/ward at school.

You can register a 10-minute time slot to meet up with the teacher of your child/ward, either through an in-person (Face to Face) meeting at the school in the morning (between 8.30am to 11.30am) or via Zoom
video conferencing in the afternoon (between 1pm to 4pm).

Mother Tongue Chinese Preliminary Examination 1 (Internal) – Wednesday, 11 March 2026

San Yu Adventist School (SYAS) will be conducting an internal mother tongue preliminary examination for Secondary 4 students taking Chinese as a second language. 

Attendance is compulsory.  Please note that the date of the mother tongue preliminary examination is final.  There will be no re-examination according to SYAS examination policy. 
Kindly refer to the letters (S4-1 | S4-2) for more information.

For Secondary 4 students who do not take Chinese in SYAS, they will be engaged in home-based learning activities assigned by subject teachers according to normal timetable.

P2 to P5 Orientation Camp

This letter is to inform you that San Yu Adventist School (SYAS) will be closed for physical classroom lessons from 5 February to 6 February 2026 for two Orientation Day Camps.

Please take note that all students from Primary 2 to Primary 6, who are not involved in the Orientation Day Camps, do not need to attend school on Thursday, 5 February and Friday, 6 February 2026, as the school would be conducting Home-based Learning (HBL). During these 2 days, the school will provide instructions and support for your child/ward to access a range of both online and hardcopy HBL resources so that learning can continue.
