Leave of Absence for students who has gone back to Mainland China during Chinese New Year Holidays
Posted on 28 January 2020
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Please take note that all SYAS students who have gone back to Mainland China for CNY holidays must take a Leave of Absence (LOA) for 14 days, starting from the day after their arrival in Singapore. These students have to quarantine themselves at home and take their temperature regularly for 14 days. All students on LOA will be supported via a home-based learning plan, which will enable them to continue with their learning.
For all other students, school will resume as per usual on 30 January 2020. Parents and guardians may email the school via [email protected] if they have special concerns.
The school will also be taking additional precautions such as temperature screening and daily disinfection of the compound. Please remind your child/ward to bring a digital thermometer to school everyday. If he/she is not feeling well, take him/her to consult a doctor.
